Collaboration is how the best kitchens happen.

The Cheltenham, PA kitchen (below) is a recent collaboration between Rasheeda Gray of Gray Space Interiors and Chris Rossetti of Main Line Kitchen Design. The finishing touches selected by Rasheeda showcase her upscale style. I love the handles, backsplash, pendant lights, appliances and accent rug. Chris’s kitchen design maximizes the space while keeping functionality and a balanced cabinetry layout a priority.

Fabuwood Cabinetry

The cabinetry is Fabuwood’s Luna skinny shaker door style in Timber stain and black paint. The black range and the hood tie the black cabinetry and black windows to the color palette Rasheeda created. The black stems of the pendant lights also complement the palette, and the white globes pair with the countertops. Even the chairs and backsplash reflect each other. The hardware is the final touch tying everything together.

The Best Interior Designers

The color and style coordination shown in this kitchen is the mark of a truly great interior designer! So many of the interior designers we meet create eclectic spaces because to achieve what Rasheeda does here is far beyond their abilities. Working well with the kitchen designer is also needed to create a great kitchen. Each discipline must respect the other or the result will look piecemeal and will sacrifice functionality and good design.
